Your hosts Jeremy and Rachel Tindall moved to Wales from South Africa in 2010. They were looking for a classic “Escape to the Country” property in Wales with outbuildings to convert into holiday cottages - and found Tanyresgair which was perfect in every way… and the rest is history as they say. (See blog: "Mid-Wales - why we love living here")
Jeremy is South African and has a Business Commerce degree and more than 35 years experience in the computer industry, in senior management positions and as an independent consultant. This includes extensive international experience with a strong emphasis on marketing and strategy at both a product and company level. As an independent business consultant he has helped and advised many tourism businesses and start-ups (game reserves, scuba dive operators, B&Bs etc). He is a very keen cyclist and regularly rides 80 miles on a Sunday with his friends on the country lanes of Ceredigion.
Rachel is British but has spent half her life in South Africa. She has more than 30 years experience in the computer industry, in software development, project management and quality management. She has a degree in Zoology, and like her husband has extensive knowledge of wildlife and is a very keen birdwatcher.
Both love walking and have travelled extensively, having visited more than 60 countries worldwide. And both love sport and follow rugby, cricket, tennis & cycling.
